Just a stone’s throw from Vallon Pont d’Arc but far from the bustle of this village, this route takes the rarely used little country roads.
You go along the Ibie river, with its mint-coloured water basins and its bright white shingle beaches. The 1/2 day course is advised.

Village of Lagorce
Perched on its rocky outcrop, the old village of Lagorce unfolds as you stroll along with its interspersed cobbled streets, arched passageways, craft shops and delightful restaurants. For your information, you can visit the very interesting Musée de la Verasoie museum (on silk-producing animals, such as a silkworms, and silkworm breeders and seeders.

The Ibie Valley – Welcome to a small piece of paradise! With a length of around 30 km, the Ibie valley, brings together all the characteristics of the Ardèche Mérdionale (Southern Ardèche), the limestone cliffs, a crystal-clear river, vineyards and lavender fields and the small villages and typical Ardèche hamlets. Wonder guaranteed!

The best known swimming area in the valley. Perfect for a picnicking stop. For your information, this valley is a preserved area, so it is therefore imperative to respect this fragile area.

A famous Mecca for prehistory and sports tourism, the village of Vallon Pont d’Arc is worth the detour if you wish to stop to make the most of the numerous tourist shops, enjoy an ice cream or have a delicious snack meal, with a waffle in the central square of the village.
